Axies
In Axie Infinity: Origins, you can collect two types of Axies: Starter Axies and Personal Axies
Starter Axies
Starter Axies are lovable in-game characters that make it easy to start playing Axie Infinity for free. Players receive 3 Starter Axies when they arrive in Lunacia and can unlock more Starter Axies by progressing in Adventure Mode.


Personal Axies
Personal Axies are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that live on the blockchain. They have all of the utility of Starter Axies plus they can be bought, sold and traded with other players on the Marketplace. Personal Axies can also breed to create more Axies!

Cards & Power-Ups
An Axie's unique abilities are determined by its Cards and enhanced using Runes and Charms
Each Axie has 6 different Cards that determine its abilities in Battle. Axies get 1 Card per body part.








If your Draw Pile has no less than 2 cards, draw 2 cards, then Discard 2.Unstable










Randomly deal 3 hits. Deal 1 bonus DMG per Spike and Bloodspike on this Axie.









Summon 1 Clover.










If the target has Shield, apply Hex for 4 turns. Otherwise, apply Fear for 4 turns.










Randomly deal 2 hits. Among the targets hit, apply Taunt for 2 turns to the lower HP one.










If this is the only Attack card in your Hand, deal 10 bonus DMG per non-Attack card in your hand.










Apply Heal Block for 4 turns.










Target any Ally. Cleanse the target 2 times and grant it 2 Leaf.










Randomly deal 2 hits. Put 1 Jinx into your opponent's Discard Pile per unique enemy hit.










For each Energy spent before this card this turn, deal bonus DMG = 50% of this card's base DMG.









Scry 2 cards. If you Discard at least 1 Skill or Secret card when Scrying, gain 2 Energy Fragments then Banish.










Target the closest or furthest enemy. Apply Vulnerable for 2 turns.










Target any ally. Put 2 Burns into your opponent's Discard Pile.










Target any enemy. Apply Heal Block for 2 turns.









If Initial, pick 1 Reptile card from your Discard Pile; otherwise, pick from your Draw Pile. Put the card on top of your Draw Pile. Banish.










Retain. Target any ally. Consume up to 7 Energy Fragment to heal 5 HP per consumed Fragment. If 7 Fragments are consumed, gain 1 Energy. Unstable.










If Initial, deal 20 bonus DMG and apply Fear to self for 3 turns.










Retain>. Heal all allies. This card gains 10 base HP per turn Retained. (Cap at 50 bonus HP)
